14 Megapixel Camera Phone – Altek Leo – Coming Soon

The 14 megapixel camera phone Altek Leo has been floating around the internet as pretty much a rumour up until now. However at CommunicAsia, Altek revealed a working unit and decided to divulge some information about the device.

Being a 14 megapixel camera phone, the Altek Leo has some impressive camera stats:

  • 14MP resoultion
  • 3 x optical zoom
  • Xenon flash
  • 1/2.3 inch CCD sensor

Aside from the camera part of the phone, the only other details revealed are that it runs Android 2.1 with an update to 2.2 promised. Sadly the Altek Leo may not make it over to America or the UK and is released in Asia in Q4 of this year. Bombard them with emails and they might just take some notice!
